When first setting up a Microsoft Word document, it might seem overwhelming. The following video takes you through, step-by-step, covering how to navigate page setup, what to include on an APA Title Page, and how to get that format just right. Before long, you’ll be a pro, but for now this will save you a lot of time and questioning whether you have it right or not. Enjoy.

Do you know if Microsoft will update the MS Word 2007 citation maker to include the revisions to APA & MLA which took effect in March(?) 2009?
Hi Rita,
I haven’t heard that news, although I think it would be necessary. Perhaps MS Word has made available an update that you could use to upgrade the citation maker. You could do a quick check to see if the upgrade is automatic by entering MLA citation information for a book and seeing if the title is underlined (old rules) or italicized (new rules).
All the best,
Lindsay
I just bought MSW2007 for school, called MS tech support to inquire on how to get 2009 updates for MLA and APA. I was asked several questions, how old my computer is, what kind it is,what type of virous protection I have, and What type of internet service. Afterword I was told that something was corupted on my computer and only he could install the updates for $139.99 and how would I like to pay for that?MY COMPUTER IS ONLY A YEAR AND A HALF OLD ! WHAT KINDA RACKET IS THIS MICROSOFT BUSSNESS, ALL I WANT IS CURRENT MLA !
I want to take this oppertunity to thank you for this visual, step by step walk through of APA format it was truely a God send! I have been trying to get it right for over a week with no guidance and when turning in a rough draft all I got in feedback was use proper APA format, so in short considering this is the first time I have ever used APA it helped dramaticly.
Tiffany, I’m glad that that this helped!
